Family Planning Services

(Program)

Provides confidential reproductive health care, education, and social services to women, men, and teens in need of family planning care. Services include physical examinations and laboratory testing, contraceptive counseling and contraceptives, pregnancy tests and counseling, STD testing and treatment, HIV counseling and testing, patient education, medical referrals, social service supports, community education, and emergency contraception.

Eligibility: Onondaga County residents

Application Process: Appointments available; Walk-ins welcome

Required Documentation: Call for required documentation

Fees: Accepts private insurance and Medicaid; individuals who are uninsured or underinsured may come in and apply for the Family Planning Benefit Program (special insurance that covers the cost of reproductive care) or utilize a sliding fee scale; inability to pay is never a barrier to care; no cost for emergency contraception
