Adult Protective Services (APS)

(Program)

Provides services to assist adults age 18 or older who, because of physical or mental impairments, can no longer provide for their basic needs for food, clothing, shelter or medical care, or protect themselves from neglect, abuse or hazardous situations, and have no one willing and/or able to help in a responsible manner.
 

Eligibility: Individuals ages 18 years and older: - with a physical or mental impairment - no longer provide for their own basic needs of shelter, food, clothing or medical care - who are at risk of harm either by their own or others' actions - who have no one willing or able to responsibly assist

Application Process: Call or walk-in for information and services

Required Documentation: No documentation initially required
