SCIPP (Syracuse Crisis Intervention and Prevention Program

​The SCIPP team services the City of Syracuse, as part of 911 diversion, by providing proactive support as well as crisis de-escalation and harm reduction services for those experiencing mental health and/or substance use emergencies, as well as connecting clients to other services/resources. SCIPP also provides training and support, including the distribution of harm reduction materials, to businesses in the City of Syracuse.

The SCIPP team is "mobile," meaning that they will come to you. SCIPP dispatch times vary from 10-30 minutes.

Eligibility: SCIPP services are open to all individuals, regardless of age, residing in the City of Syracuse

Application Process: Call for information

Required Documentation: Clients DO NOT need insurance to be seen by the SCIPP team, if a client does have insurance, we will make a copy of their insurance card and bill their insurance card and bill their insurance, though this will never result in charges/co-pays to the client.
