Army Emergency Relief (AER)

Provides financial assistance for verifiable emergency needs in the form of interest-free loans or grants as well as scholarship opportunities for those who qualify.

Eligibility: Active duty military and their families, retired soldiers and their families, Army National Guard and Army Reserve soldiers on continuous active duty for more than 30 days and their families, Army National Guard and Army Reserve soldiers who retired at age 60 and their families, surviving spouses and orphans of solders who died on active duty or after they retired
