Licenses and monitors child care providers and facilities. Provides support for people and organizations who are interested in starting child day care programs in their communities. Offers a Child Care Facility Search online that allows individuals to search for New York State regulated providers by name or location (county or zip code). Searching by different types of care, such as family day care or day care centers, is also possible. Facility listings include contact information, address, capacity, and the current status of its license or registration.
