Independent Living Program

Independent Living Program

Provides a variety of services for people with disabilities in an effort to gain independence. Services include individual advocacy, peer counseling, systems advocacy, benefits planning assistance, education and employment support, ADA consultations, housing search assistance, and media resources.
 

Eligibility: Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence County residents with disabilities

Application Process: Call for information and to schedule an appointment

Required Documentation: No documents are required for most services; advocacy in certain situations may require documentation, call for details

Service Area: Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties

Languages: Language support available by appointment, American Sign Language, Spanish
