NY State of Health: The Official Health Plan Marketplace
Provides an organized marketplace developed by New York State to help individuals, families, and small businesses shop for and enroll in health insurance coverage, including Medicaid, Child Health Plus, and Essential Plan. Allows people to compare insurance options, calculate costs and determine their eligibility, enroll (and/or renew their) health insurance. Also provides information regarding types of financial assistance available to applicants to help them afford health insurance purchased through the Marketplace. Information and services are available online, in person, by mail, and over the phone.

Eligibility: Must live in New York State, be a US citizen or national, and not currently incarcerated
Application Process: May apply online, by phone, or in person; telephone help and online chat are available Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 8 PM and Saturday, 9 AM - 1 PM
