Maximizing Independent Living Choices (MILC)

Provides a resource and advocacy center for people with disabilities. Services include information and referral, benefits advisement, advocacy, home health care, housing, peer mentoring, nursing home transition assistance, insurance enrollment assistance, community education, independent living skills training, and architectural barrier consults.

Eligibility: Individuals with disabilities and chronic health conditions regardless of age

Service Area: Franklin, Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence counties

Languages: Interpreter services available upon request, American Sign Language
